2 months... CANCER FREE

Last week, I had my 2 month checkup. My doc reviewed the results and the PET scan came back clean. What this means is that I am in remission. Wow.. I really have made it.

Going to the doctor's office was very surreal. I felt so bad going there over the summer but now I feel like my old self again. It didn't even seem like the same place. Hard to describe. It was good to see everyone again and not feel like a zombie.

The doc tells me I will have checkups every few months. If it doesn't come back in the next year or two chances are it never will. My energy level is back to normal, and I have no real side effects.. and best of all.. I am ALIVE.
